I'm a 9 year Livermore resident holding B.S. and MBA
degrees with children in grades two and five in the LVJUSD.
The district has gone through a series of difficult and
divisive decisions that have left doubts about the real
status of the District's finances. My educational background,
over 15 years experience as a senior manager at companies
such as SONY, where budget responsibility exceeded $1 billion,
plus tight budget management as a small business owner lets
me ask the tough questions to ensure the public's money is
well managed. The LVJUSD needs new members to provide a
different perspective in resolving its budget issues and
to ensure the district staff works in a manner that is
responsive to the community's desires. This includes
being comfortable with communicating and listening to
the public including quarterly "town hall" meetings and
regular consultation with classroom teachers. I bring
the skills, experience, demeanor and energy to work to
ensure the public has total disclosure in the
district's financial practices and to ensure input
from all members of the community is truly and
seriously considered before making decisions that
will affect our children for a lifetime.
